Authentic conveyor belt sushi at Central Parc Valvert

Matsuri Valvert is opening at Central Parc Valvert, in the Croix Blanche area of Le Plessis-Pâté, bringing its emblematic kaiten concept to the Essonne. Until now, you had to travel up to Paris for the Matsuri conveyor belt sushi experience. From now on, the plates go by just minutes from Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, Brétigny-sur-Orge, Fleury-Mérogis and Évry-Courcouronnes: sushi, maki, sashimi and exclusive creations prepared continuously by our chefs, to be picked up as you fancy.

Why choose a conveyor belt sushi bar in the Essonne?

The kaiten turns a meal into an interactive moment. No menu to wait for, no service dragging on: you settle in around the belt and build your meal plate by plate. It is the ideal format after a shopping trip to the Croix Blanche, for an efficient weekday lunch or for a family dinner where young and old alike find what they like. Each plate colour matches a price, so you stay in control of your budget from the first maki to the last.

The Matsuri menu: far more than sushi

At Matsuri Valvert, sushi sits alongside ramen, gyoza, nori tacos and handrolls. Our recipes blend Japanese tradition with Californian influences, using ultra-fresh produce prepared on site every day. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and our selection of Japanese desserts brings the meal to a gentle close.

The go-to Japanese restaurant south of Paris

Set in the heart of one of the largest retail areas in the Essonne, Matsuri Valvert enjoys direct access from the Francilienne (N104) and the A6, with a large free car park. Whether you are coming from Le Plessis-Pâté, Saint-Michel-sur-Orge, Longpont-sur-Orge or Corbeil-Essonnes, you are less than fifteen minutes from a real conveyor belt sushi restaurant.

Discover our Paris addresses too

Matsuri is a network of some twenty restaurants in France, Luxembourg and Switzerland. If you work in Paris or pass through, you will find Matsuri Bac, Matsuri Victor Hugo and Matsuri La Défense, among others. All our locations are gathered on our restaurants page.

Plan your visit by browsing our menu

Before you come, take a look at our menu online to discover the current selections: signature maki, sashimi, chefs' creations and desserts. The menu changes with the seasons, so there is always something new to try on the belt.

A large glazed room for Matsuri at Central Parc Valvert

The room is vast and fully glazed: the windows look onto the retail park and pour light over several parallel rows of conveyor belts, each lined with chairs on chrome frames with pastel seats in sky blue, pale yellow and pink. Above the belts, a mirrored band reflects the room back, and screens show the dishes near the counter where The Original Sushi Bar is written in pink. Away from the belts, an area of tables with pale tops runs along a wall entirely papered with Japanese posters and magazine covers, under cylindrical pendants.
