Japanese restaurant a short walk from the Champs-Élysées: what you should know about Matsuri Boétie

The 8th arrondissement of Paris is one of the liveliest and busiest districts in the capital. Between the Champs-Élysées, la Madeleine and the Golden Triangle, it draws a cosmopolitan crowd every day: tourists from all over the world, Paris executives, families on a weekend break, lovers of high-end shopping.

It is in this bustling context that Matsuri Boétie holds a singular place. Our authentic Japanese restaurant, at 103 rue La Boétie, offers a welcome break from the hustle of the main avenues: a carefully designed setting, gentle background music, and a conveyor belt sushi where the plates follow one another with the regularity and precision expected of quality Japanese cuisine.

Whether you are looking for a quick lunch before your next meeting, a relaxed dinner after a long day of sightseeing or an original outing to impress your guests, Matsuri Boétie meets all these occasions with the same consistent quality.

What sets the sushi bar on la Boétie apart from other restaurants in the 8th?

In an arrondissement where restaurants are plentiful, standing out is no small feat. Matsuri Boétie does it in its own way: by focusing on the experience as much as on what is on the plate.

Kaitenzushi creates a momentum you will not find anywhere else. Dishes arrive continuously, prepared before your eyes by our chefs, and you build your meal as your appetite and your curiosity dictate. Chashu chicken ramen, wagyu beef gyoza, original seasonal creations, Japanese desserts created by our partners: every pass of the conveyor belt is a fresh invitation to try something.

This freedom in the tasting, combined with guaranteed freshness and the attentive welcome of our team, explains why our sushi restaurant on la Boétie has built a clientele as diverse as the neighbourhood around it.

Sushi delivery in the 8th and beyond

Are you in the neighbourhood but would rather stay at your office or your hotel? Our sushi delivery service covers a wide area around la Boétie: Faubourg-du-Roule, Champs-Élysées, Madeleine, Europe, Saint-Lazare, Miromesnil, Monceau, Saint-Philippe-du-Roule, Ternes and Batignolles.

Our Japanese creations reach you with the same care and freshness as in the dining room, so that the Matsuri experience can join you wherever you are in the 8th arrondissement and its surroundings.

Matsuri Boétie, a Japanese table that makes no compromise on quality

Since 1998, Matsuri has built its reputation on a simple but demanding principle: to offer every guest authentic Japanese cuisine, prepared with fresh produce selected every day, in a modern and welcoming setting.

Our address in the 8th arrondissement fully embodies that heritage. Our customers' reviews confirm it regularly: what comes up most often is the consistent quality of the dishes, the creativity of certain recipes, and the attention our team pays to every detail of the service. Cooking that does not try to impress at all costs, but wins you over meal after meal, visit after visit.

A dense network of Japanese restaurants in Paris and across France

Matsuri Boétie is part of a solid Paris network: Bac, Marbeuf, Victor Hugo, Passy, Neuilly, Courcelles, Vincennes... and many other addresses outside Paris, from Lyon to Bordeaux by way of Marseille and Grenoble.

Wherever you start from, in the capital or elsewhere in France, a Matsuri is often within reach. To find the address nearest you, see our restaurants page.

The decor of Matsuri Boétie, from counter to poster collages

You come in past a brushed stainless steel counter, with The Original Sushi Bar backlit, facing an M logo cut out on a slatted wall. From the dark wood slatted ceiling hang two-tone cylindrical pendants, white and pink, white and yellow, white and bright blue, right above the plates going by. The conveyor belt forms a U on two levels, lined with high chairs with pale slatted backs, and faces a large mural of posters devoted to Japanese gymnastics. Further into the room the decor switches: walls and ceiling in white, entirely covered with collages of Japanese posters and cuttings, multiplied by mirrored panels.
